As a native Charlottean, Mark has seen this city grow from a southern midsize city to one of the fastest growing cities in the country. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1997, Mark spent a number of years in sports marketing following in the footsteps of his father, who was a Hall of Fame sportswriter.
Mark started in the real estate business in 2002 as a commercial broker and Landlord Representative. He was Manager of Leasing for a large scale national real estate firm as well as working in general brokerage for a smaller regional firm focusing on office and retail development.
He has been a CRCBR multimillion-dollar producer each year, a Co-Star Top 20 transaction volume producer and a Commercial Certificate Program graduate the first year the program started. Mark has also worked in site selection in both residential and commercial real estate. His knowledge of the Charlotte market continues to grow as the city does.
